The Minister of Tourism outlines Egypt's aim to welcome 30 million visitors by 2028

 Egypt is setting ambitious targets to boost its tourism sector, aiming to attract 30 million tourists annually by 2028. In a recent meeting led by the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Ahmed Issa, efforts to achieve this goal were presented. In the fiscal year 2022/2023, tourism revenues experienced substantial growth, reaching $13.6 billion—a remarkable 26.8 percent increase compared to the previous fiscal year. Additionally, the number of nights spent by tourists in Egypt saw a significant rise of 27.6 percent, reaching a record of 146.1 million nights during the fiscal year 2022/2023.
